چکیده
In this paper, we consider the waveform design of a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmitter which simultaneously functions as MIMO radar and base station for downlink multiuser communications. addition to power constraint, require covariance transmit be equal given optimal radar, guarantee performance. With formulate solve signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) balancing problem beamforming via convex optimization. Considering that interference cannot completely eliminated with introduce dirty paper coding (DPC) further cancel interference, SINR sum rate maximization in DPC regime. Although both two problems are non-convex, show they can reformulated optimizations Lagrange downlink-uplink duality. addition, propose gradient projection based algorithms equivalent dual balancing, regimes. The simulation results demonstrate significant performance improvement over beamforming, also indicate degrees freedom communication is restricted by rank covariance.

Downlink Transmit Beamforming for Multiuser - MIMO System
In multiuser multiple input multiple output (MUMIMO) downlink, the presence of multiuser cause the co-channel interference (CCI). The co-channel interference should be suppressed at the transmitter by the space precoding. Precoding is required to overcome it. The specifically challenge is to design transmit beamforming vectors for each user. Signal to leakage plus noise ratio (SLNR) method is o...
متن کاملOptimal Transmit Covariance for Ergodic MIMO Channels
In this paper we consider the computation of channel capacity for ergodic multiple-input multiple-output channels with additive white Gaussian noise. Two scenarios are considered. Firstly, a time-varying channel is considered in which both the transmitter and the receiver have knowledge of the channel realization. The optimal transmission strategy is water-filling over space and time. It is sho...
متن کاملSingle-stage transmit beamforming design for MIMO radar
MIMO radar beamforming algorithms usually consist of a signal covariance matrix synthesis stage, followed by signal synthesis to fit the obtained covariance matrix. In this paper, we propose a radar beamforming algorithm (called BeamShape) that performs a single-stage radar transmit signal design; i.e. no prior covariance matrix synthesis is required. Beam-Shape’s theoretical as well as computa...

متن کاملFast Implementation of Transmit Beamforming for Colocated MIMO Radar
Multiple-input Multiple-output (MIMO) radars benefit from spatial and waveform diversities to improve the performance potential. Phased array radars transmit scaled versions of a single waveform thereby limiting the transmit degrees of freedom to one. However MIMO radars transmit diverse waveforms from different transmit array elements thereby increasing the degrees of freedom to form flexible ...
